Bartram Trail

William Bartram was an avid botanist who explored the wildernesses of Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas in the late 1700s. His ventures brought him as far west as present day Graham County. Bartram is believed to have camped on Tallulah Creek before turning back toward civilization. His route is being researched and marked.
