Maple Springs is a lookout at the dead-end of Santeetlah Road. If offers a handicapped accessable deck out to a great view of the Smokies. It is also the trailhead for Deep Creek and Haoe Lead Trails. Both of these trails lead to the summit known as Haoe Bald, Deep Creek being the most used.
