Slickrock Creek is one of the most adventurous of the trails in Joyce Kilmer. The trailhead is on the southside of the bridge at the Tapoco Dam, famous for the jump scene in The Fugitive (see map pictured below).The trail follows Calderwood Lake for a while before turning back into the wilderness. There are many crossing of the creek, so plan to get wet. The highlight is Wildcat Falls where the water steps down several times in a short distance.
